Seems like it would be a simple matter of scrolling through your mobile phone’s contact list and punching the call button…but what if you run out of juice before you can get through the jammed phone networks? And what if no juice is forthcoming from the wall sockets thanks to a power outage?
I have a simple solution for you. Take one of your business cards (or just a small piece of paper; no need to get too fancy-like), turn it over, and write down the three most important phone numbers in your life. Tuck it into your wallet. Ta da! Now you have a personalized, mini phone directory, Luddite-style.
(As for tracking down access to a landline, well, that’s an advanced technique.)
